Ken Thayer, President of Residential First Capital since 1979, is a consummate professional and has developed a service that is consumer friendly with a humanistic approach to lending...a rarity indeed. The entire staff is knowledgeable, dedicated, responsive, and customer service at Residential First Capital is top notch. The rates offered by Residential First are most competitive and escrow is a breeze. Having a notary come to our home for all document signings is a much appreciated bonus. Residential First Capital is one of the few business that I recommend unequivocally.

  A Firm with Integrity whose Team Members are Trustworthy, Reliable, and Transparent. That’s how I would describe Residential First Mortgage based on my more than 30-year relationship with the firm and its President, Ken Thayer. Ken guided me through the financing of my first home in 1991, and he has been my “go to guy” for every real estate transaction since. There’s no bait and switch here. Ken provides the best financing options available for the market environment. You get what you signed up for, and you get it in a timely fashion. These people care about their clients and provide first rate service. Over the years, Ken has invested extra time to educate me and to introduce me to different financing options. His guidance has been invaluable. He has saved me time and money, and he has enabled me to build my net worth more quickly. Ken and his team are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They have seen me through the purchase of my first home, the purchase of my second home, the conversion of my first home into a rental, the acquisition of capital for several remodels, and the refinancing of multiple mortgages to improve my financial position as rates have dropped over the years. Though other brokers have tried to tempt me, I have always remained loyal to Ken and his team because I trust them and because they deliver excellent results.
