  Mr. Richard has in depth knowledge of different tax situations. He is also really friendly and take personal interest in your tax situation and advice you accordingly. I highly recommend Mr. Richard for personal or business related tax advice.

  Avoid him at all cost. At the consultation he stated "2 weeks" he would file. 3 weeks come by and still didn't hear anything. Had to call him several times and chase him down to do my taxes. He is very unorganized, and continues to blame that he is "to busy", and "it's crazy"! What do you expect you are a CPA in tax season??? if you are to busy why continue to take clients? It's money over good quality service. Tried a different CPA this year, to only pay more money with horrible service.

Based on your review, It sounds to me as your return was prepared on or before the tax deadline. Regarding price, we are competitively priced.

  I tried to be proactive with hiring this CPA, Richard Garcia. I called his office a few times in early and mid January, and I was told by Mr. Garcia to wait until I have ALL my tax documents before calling him back and scheduling an appointment for his services. In March, I got all my tax documents and tried calling his office multiple times and also emailing his website's message box, and I never got any email or phone call back from his office. When I was finally able to get hold of someone from his office (a very rude guy over the phone), the person told me that Mr. Garcia won't see anyone until after the tax deadline. No call back, no email, I get one can be busy, and more busy during the tax season. But why advertise your services as a CPA and have a website and phone number, but never reach back to people calling or emailing for services.

  Thank you for considering my firm for your needs. There are a number of tax professionals to choose from in San Antonio. I'm sure you'll find a suitable firm to meet your needs. Tax season is a very hectic seven day slog for weeks with really long hours. I don't find it fair receiving a one star review when you didn't drop by with your tax support. The reality is tax practioners deal with a deadline date for hundreds of tax clients. People are calling, dropping off and picking up daily as we try to get the work done. Shortening the turnaround time is waiting for tax clients to receive all their tax documents which trickle in through late January and early February. I wish you well and hope you are able to find a tax professional who can cater to your expectations. I'm a bit surprised you chose to leave three separate reviews for the same issue.
