  Freedom Mortgage decreased my rate from 4.85 to 2.25. The folks were continuously in touch by e-mail and coached me through the process. The closing was scheduled and the agent was right on time. I would give them ten stars.

  Worse mortgage company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service/ insurance department is terrible. Have been trying to get payment for 2 months to the insurance company but they always have an excuse why the payment didn't go out. The insured's policy will cancel for non payment and they simply don't care. They lie about why the payments don't go out, then they lie how the payments go out. And if you try to ask for a supervisor they put you on hold for over 20 minutes and keep saying their supervisor is not available. Don't get a mortgage with them unless you want to risk your homeowners policy canceling and you being at risk if something happens. They take ZERO ownership for their mistakes. If i could give ZERO stars I would!!!!

  My experience with Freedom began in Nevada with Loan Officer Tommy Allums and his follow up on my loan, even after the it was moved to Georgia, was outstanding. After being passed on to Kimberly Duprey, the communication, follow up, care, and concern, took a nosedive. I have bought and sold 5 houses so far in my lifetime, but have never experienced such a lack of care, concern, and common courtesy. I hope someone at Freedom looks at the email threads and voicemails that when unanswered. This loan officer didn’t even have the decency to congratulate me on closing the loan. My Recommendation: DO NOT USE FREEDOM MORTGAGE IF YOU ARE BUYING A HOME IN GEORGIA.
