      Worst banking service, the atm took my card for taking to long to deposit a check, I was filling out the deposit envelope it gives you and it took my card for “security reason” and said the atm was closed. I’m changing banks as soon as possible.

      Excellent staff that are always helpful and friendly when I am in the branch. The added benefit of easy to use online banking with unlimited account transfers (standard banking only allows 5 a month) is extremely helpful. The low fees for overdraft and no fees for having a negative balance are also appreciated if you end up making a mistake with your finances. All in all I would recommend Salem VA FCU to my family and friends.
