      Publishing this review and five star review due to an excellent "make up" experience at the Santander Asbury Park branch, specifically due to the hard work and professionalism of branch banker Ryan Narine. I opened an account here about two years ago, due to a promotion I received in the mail that offered a $400 bonus for opening accounts and transferring "new" money into the bank, which needed to stay in the accounts for a certain amount of time before receiving the bonus. After those months passed I noticed that the bonus was not applied. I tried the original banker who opened the account multiple times, was promised call backs and they never got back to me, and the promised money never hit the account. I stopped spending time going after these funds, some time passed and out of the blue I received a call from a representative of the bank - Ryan Narine, who was just checking in to see how I was doing (typical of a relationship banker). I thanked him for calling, and told him all was good, except that I never received the bonus, which was the only reason I opened the accounts. Unlike the other persons I spoke with about this Ryan got back to me, and got back to me fairly quickly. He did what was needed to verify that I was in fact owed a bonus, went up the chain and got everything processed quickly. Importantly he got back to me. He is a fantastic communicator and a wildly valuable asset for this bank. He basically saved my "relationship" with Santander Bank, and deserves recognition for his dedication (to his company & clients) and hard work. So here it is! I would recommend that anyone looking to open or change bank accounts come to Santander in Asbury Park, and ask for Ryan Narine. You will not be disappointed!
