  My wife and I are in the process of purchasing our first home. We ultimately decided to work with Shawn due to a recommendation from my in-laws; Shawn had been working with them for many years now, and was given a strong recommendation. From the moment Kim and I made contact, we could see why. Shawn is a veteran in the industry, and broke down numbers, presented charts, thought through scenarios, and fought for the best financial situation in a way I don't think other lenders (certainly less experienced ones) could. Shawn considered our financial capabilities very, very carefully, and got us into a house that, perhaps with other lenders, we couldn't have made work. Shawn has a fantastic combination of humor, yet "get it done" attitude. He is friendly, straightforward, and respectful, yet doesn't mess around when it comes to getting what he needs to make sure the loan process goes smoothly, which is really what you want when it comes to the "behind the scenes" dealings. We haven't run into any bumps in the road, but I have a feeling that Shawn would tackle that with the same energy. Though we haven't closed on the house yet, I have no qualms about leaving Shawn this review right now. He's been great to work with, and my wife and I really feel that he's doing everything in his power to give us THE BEST, not just acceptable.
