I have been a member of this credit Union for 20 plus years. I can count the number of times in those years I have requested a stop payment or had a overdraft on one hand, if that. I requested a stop payment and was charged $30! There was no offer to waive the fee for this one time or anything! This is ridiculous! I understand the credit Union has to make money, but loyalty doesn’t count for anything! I will be moving my accounts to Navy Federal Credit Union where the customer matters as soon as my loans are satisfied! I was also given incorrect information on the phone in regards to the stop payment process and had to come into the office! I can not believe after all these years this is the level of service I am receiving!

I came here after having a bad experience at shell federal credit union. I stayed there literally 3 HOURS at smart financial because Channing and Eustacia were determined to get my process done as much as possible for the day. They were super friendly, did not make the experience stressful and serious like some banks, and were apparent that they know what they’re doing. Smart financial has me for life. ☺️
