  Let’s keep in consideration that Branch Managers and Staff change all the time, so past experiences posted may not reflect the current Staff. Ever since my wife left teaching at a Christian School and began teaching for the State of NC, we naturally joined the SECU in Mt. View. We cannot speak highly enough of Jared Ramsey and the staff at this Branch. Have all of our dealings with them gone smoothly? Of course not, but when you have built relationships, those times are manageable. I highly recommend this Branch! 09.21.2021

  Good if you want a basic low fee checking account and basic services like having a car deed notarized. Not helpful for things like loans or IRA accounts and especially cumbersome if you need to transfer funds between your own accounts at different institutions. They will place holds for several days instead of calling the other bank to verify the check, even if you have been a member for more than 10 years and haven’t ever overdrafted your accounts. They also told me that they do not have the ability to transfer funds electronically between institutions unless you pay for a wire transfer.

  I love a credit union but after a few failed times of needing help I've now debating having to open at another local credit union because of some of the policies sadly. Especially when my partner & I both have accounts here and we deposited a check wrote to him (business check not personal) & it took them 3 days to inform me even though he signed it that it could not be placed into my account and they couldn't just deposit it into his. So almost two weeks later the check finally got mailed back to us!
