      Astoria federal was a great bank long time ago I think Sterling has improve a little on the service , let’s wait and see , it seems that they r doing better . On a note all the banks in general are not the way they were .

      Good times don’t come back any more! Astoria Federal Savings for me Used to be the best bank in New York, until they merged. Now you just need to see the reviews to understand.

      I went to the branch at Ditmar's because my branch at 30th Ave and 38th St was closed, Again. I got to the door at 3:45 pm and it was already locked. They were supposed to stay open until 4 pm. I really needed to speak with an officer about my IRA. What a waste of time and traffic. I am really tempted to close my account. Danny W.
