      I think the people who are giving the 1 star reviews calling Student Loan Service a scam are confused. There is another company called Student Loan Services (see the added s there?) that is a scam and does all the things they mention. Been with Student Loan Service for about 2 years now and they have saved me well over 2k a year and I am on a forgiveness plan that forgives my loans after X amount of payments towards my servicer FedLoan. Well worth signing up with them and everyone I have ever spoken to were nice and seem to really want to help you out with this burden many of us live with now.

      Student Loan Service.US or SLS is a scam. They are not affiliated with the Department of Education and have no influence in lowering the rate of the student loan. They initially told me that they service the loan and need to charge me $5/month as long as the loan is current. This is a lie. Do not work with this company. They offer nothing.
