  Beware never open a account at truist bank they lost 7500.00 out of my account its been almost a week an still have not replaced the money in my account more worried about how they made the mistake.

  A couple of weeks ago, my Suntrust account was hijacked and someone stole $2,000.00 from my account. Suntrust didn’t even catch the fraudulent activity or notify me about it. In distress, I went to this Suntrust location to ask for help. Rather than being greeted with a smile or comforting words, I was greeted with disdain. One of Suntrust’s employees at this location, a woman by the name of Jinea, acted as if my questions about my compromised account were annoying her. Unsatisfied with the encounter, I told her “thanks for nothing”, and turned around to leave. To my shock, she began to yell at me on my way out! When I turned around and began to yell back, a few of the Suntrust employees ganged up on me and kicked me out of the bank. To add insult to injury, two weeks later, they cancelled my account without even notifying me. The manager at this bank, Wilfredo(sp?), didn’t even call me to get my side of the story. If you are considering doing business with Suntrust, and don’t want to get treated like dirt, I highly urge you to bank elsewhere. I signed up with M&T and they seem like they treat their customers with at least the minimal amount of respect, unlike Suntrust. I will be urging all of my family, friends, and anyone who will hear me out against doing business with Suntrust.
