I agree with you that the outcome of your matter is disappointing for me as well. We work very hard to accomplish our client’s objectives and, sometimes, despite our best efforts, the outcome is not what anyone wanted. If I ever gave you the impression that we could do this, I apologize and your frustration is completely understandable. In the nearly twenty years that I’ve been in the real estate business, we have supported great outcomes for reasonable clients, but never have we suggested that we can control things that are inherently out of our control. I’m flattered that it was your belief that we could control how another party reacts in a real estate transaction, but that is simply not the world that we live in. I respectfully disagree with your assertion that the deal did not get “done” because of lack of professionalism or ability. Since we have cleared up the misunderstanding that our firm cannot force other parties to do anything, please know that we wish you nothing but the best moving forward.
