  We had an amazing experience with Tim O'Brien Homes - from start to finish. Our sales person (Amy) was a true partner - incredibly responsive, straightforward and an expert in the home-building building process plus the local real estate market. The design team (Mallory and Reagan) was very easy to work with, which enabled us to get through a ton of decisions and helped us add those touches that make a house a home. Finally, our key contact for the construction phase (Alex) made a very complicated process easy for us - sending us regular updates and guiding us through any issues. We would highly recommend Tim O'Brien Homes!

  After a really expensive, painful and very unpleasant first home buying experience (I bought existing), it was fate that I spoke with New Home Sales Professional Amy Roehl and found out about a perfect lot - for me - in a new development just northeast of Madison. After having lived on the Isthmus (and apartments before that) it was important that the home plan that I selected offered me just the right amount of privacy from my neighbors. A feature that I didn't even realize that I needed until I got it. The pre-contract experience was simple and painless. Amy made everything easy to comprehend and was always available when questions arose. She is so patient and comforting as buying a home is a REALLY BIG purchase! As a result - there were LOTS of nerves. Amy Roehl was a perfect partner to guide me through the initial steps of crafting my build contract. She worked with me to make sure that I included as much as I could prior to signing so that I could feel comfortable knowing that my home cost would be exactly (or very close to) the contract amount. I never felt pressured to add any specific features and I really appreciated Amy's honesty when I asked if she felt certain additions made sense for me and my bottom line. I really liked that and didn't feel anxious at all about what costs "might crop up" during the build phase - because what adjustments there were were minor at best. I couldn't have asked for a better person to buy a home from. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been able to work with BOTH Mallory and Reagan during the Selections process. They are truly a "Dynamic Duo"!! They both are such incredible designers, I was so excited to hear their ideas for what I could do in my house and stay within my allowance. Selections is incredibly overwhelming. It can be a stressful process and I would not have known how to make sense of the interior of my home without Reagan and Mallory's help. I'm so happy with the results of our work and am really proud to show it off! I cannot say enough good things about them! There are a LOT of features in and about my home that bring comfort that aren't related to any exterior or interior design choices. From the foam insulation in the basement and to the efficient HVAC system to the home maintenance service that Tim O'Brien Homes pays for (for the first year). Tim O'Brien Homes is helping me maintain the value of my new home. How cool is that? Joe is the specialist who I contact during the next year. No matter what comes up, I just have to reach out to him and he'll get the right people assigned to the job! It's reassuring having him as a point person. Joe has been a great bookend to Amy for this new home build. As home buying and building costs increase - Tim O'Brien Homes offers more than just a house - they offer support, professionalism and expertise.
