  They have charged me multiple times for "not having insurance" on my vehichle when I did have insurance. And my history with the company shows I've always have had insurance. Every time they sent me a notification I have always shown proof. Here recently a rep I spoke to had said that they have always had issues with my insurance company and said he would get it fixed. I never got the refund. Next I called again about a week ago to check on it. They told me I needed my declaration page for that time. Impossible to get as when my policy renews it removes the old. I cannot get the previous ones as I am not able to call the insurance company due to their hours of operation and my work schedule. I am able to provide and insurance card for that time but they will not accept it. Based off my history and the fact that I can provide an insurance card with everything I have they still won't refund the charge and since it was charged to the loan it also had interest tacked on. They state they call the insurance department. But I do not believe them because in past when I was able to call I didn't have issues getting ahold of them with the exception of wait time on the call. Not once did TFCU ever call me to let me know that they didn't have it. If they had I could have provided it right then and there. They also have my policy number so it's not like they could not have checked themselves to on their verification site, I know this because anytime I have called TFCU they'd ask for it and then would immediately be able to pull up the declarations page. Policy numbers don't change unless you change companies. So if you have it you can look it up again. Very disappointed and want the refund of a charge I am not responsible for. I have done all I can to show proof of insurance. Every time I have called the calls have been recorded so I know they can pull the records. I have also filled with the BBB and the NCUA

  I’m having an issue with them and just getting batted around from one person to the next. Most are nice and sincerely want to help but there’s this onnnne person who should NOT be in customer service. I will update if and when there’s a resolution.

  This used to be a company called CIT mortgage...not sure what happened to them
