      Since this bank was taken over by Truist it's the worst bank I've ever seen. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I've been with BB&T for over 10 years and was happy with them. No more.

      Went to deposit a $5k check at BB&T in Shelby. Got denied because “they needed to call the customer to make sure it was for me”. They needed to Verify “funds”. Never have I had this issue. I’ve deposited bigger checks than that. Having a business checking account I figured they wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. We couldn’t get a hold of the customer. I called the main branch and they said I shouldn’t have any restrictions also being that the customers check was from BB&T as well. Had to drive to Forest City BB&T and had no issues. I think it was up to the teller not the bank. But yes my business is legit and well detailed.
