      BBT messed up a deposit and instead of depositing, somehow deducted a very large sum from the account. this included an overdraft fee for nothing we had done incorrectly. after looking for a resolution we were given no real answers. they would not advise whether a hold could be taken off since they messed up the deposit. they then finally released the hold and had NO record of the large sum that was supposed to be deposited. the only thing remaining was the slip of paper from the original transaction (that was done wrong in the first place). after calling and asking about that, we got a call then saying “dId YoU bOtHeR cHeCkInG tHe AcCoUnT bEfOrE cAlLiNg” Nah just called and messed around. YES IT WAS CHECKED. not pending, not there. but magically, it was in there after the last phone call. what a waste of time and stress. i’d recommend closing your account here if you somehow still have one.
