      Was issued a check by a contractor that banked with bb&t I took tge check to the merchant's dr location and presented it. They ask if I had an account which I didn't but the company that wrote me the check did. They told me I had to pay a fee since I didn't have an account. I ask them if they were going to charge my bank a fee when they presented it the next business day. The teller said no I asked why should I then and left. This has to be a real sorry institution to need a fee on a check written against them.
