  You can count on Steve going out of his way to help you. It says volumes that he was willing and able to help me in a situation that was not going to benefit him in any way. I had taken out a home equity loan in 1995 and paid it off as agreed and closed it out in 1999. The lender was a predecessor to US Bank, known as First Bank which had a Wichita branch at the time. First Bank collateralized the loan with a 2nd mortgage lien on my home. I never received a lien release after it was paid off, because First Bank was acquired by and merged with US Bank and the intended lien release fell through the cracks. So, when I purchased a new home, recently, the Title company discovered this old lien, which needed to get cleared in order to sell my home. I spent a fair amount of time, trying to figure out who to get in touch with at US Bank, headquartered in Minneapolis, with no luck. So, I found out that US Bank had mortgage lenders here in Wichita. I contacted Steve and he promptly proceeded to help. I sent him some documentation to forward to US Bank HQ. He forwarded them and the next day he was able to provide me with several departments which handle such matters. And within a handful of days, I had the desired, notarized lien release in my hands. So, if Steve is going to go to bat for someone from whom he stands to gain nothing, he is certainly going to be diligent in helping you get the loan that you desire. Thank you Steve.
