  I had left some important papers in the deposit bag which was taken to this bank. I was new to my job, and panicking to say the least. I spoke to Rose the manager and she and the teller, Lauren we're able to retrieve the important papers and get them returned to me via our courier. They saved the day, and possibly my job at that point. Thanks again!

  Missed a line of credit payment by a few days over the grace period due to the latest snow storm followed by work travel. Definitely my fault for the oversight. I’ve never been 30 days late on any payment with Umpqua or ever for that matter. To my surprise, they charged me an astronomical 43% late fee on the payment. Unbelievable, I’ve never heard of such a disproportionately high fee for a late payment. Do yourself a favor, don’t bank with predatory banks like this. This should be criminal. I may refer this to the State AG to look into.

  tried to close a loan, had to wait 6 months to sell our house and thought that we could close shortly after we sold. wrong. 4 months later and still not closed, one thing after another, always needing some document or a new bid or something that never ended. After my experience I have heard others have horrible experiences as well with umpqua. Go somewhere else.
