      I had an issue with my credit card from U.S.Bank being double charged for a payment. The phone rep from the credit card center told me I had to go into my local branch to reverse the charges and look at my account because my payment was higher than the minimum due it showed when I made the payment. In this branch they told me they could only see my statements and would have to call the credit card center to reverse the double charge. After 2 hours there they still couldn't tell me why it showed a lower minimum then what was charged and that it would be 6 to 8 weeks before the extra charge was charged back to my checking account! I immediately called my bank (not u.s. bank) and had them reverse the extra charge after I explained to them what had happened. Normally they say go through the business that did the double charge bc they can reverse it but even my bank agreed that 6 to 8 weeks is rediculous!
