  UCCU has great rates which is why I give it two stars instead of one. And hey, I’m glad other people had positive things to say, but I really had quite a negative experience with them overall. Their website and app are absolutely impossible to use so you have to call in to do just about everything (and I’m a millennial so I promise it’s not that I can’t handle a computer, lol). We went to close our account and had a couple hundred dollars in it and they told me it was empty. We verified again and were able to withdraw before officially closing but it bothers me that they couldn’t/didn’t see that. My login expired from lack of use (because we really only used them for an auto loan and my husband was usually the one to log in). To get another login, I would have had to call in, answer security questions, and then wait to have a supervisor process it. If I would have known it would expire and it wouldn’t just be a quick email to resolve it I would have tried to log in earlier. I understand wanting to keep things secure but there were just SO many hoops we had to go through for every little thing that I’m glad to be done with it. Overall, not a great experience.

  We had a serious problem with a possible phishing attack. Had to close our accounts; open new accounts; and transfer funds into a new account. It was a long process. Sonora, who helped us was very professional in every respect. My thanks to her!
