Chris was great, as a first time home buyer, he was honest and answered every question and made sure I fully understand!!

Yea No… I was told my DTI was to high I went directly to a bank not a broker and got a better interest rate and monthly payment. I got approved and closed on my home within weeks. I worked with Chris and it was a mess. He might be good for first time home buyer’s but if you’re not go somewhere else. Another thing I noticed is they add on extremely high home insurance with the companies they use.

I would rate Chris Haliburton, my loan officer, 5 stars, but as this is for the mortgage company itself, I can't do so. Chris was great, especially for a first time home buyer. He was always available via email or phone, and patiently answered every question I had (which was a lot). My only hesitation in recommending Chris is the company he works for: Verity Mortgage ultimately dropped the ball at the very end, and caused closing to be delayed, but my case was fairly unique. I recommend Chris without hesitation, and I recommend Verity with some minor reservations.
