  I went into this bank to close one of my checking accounts. I also have a business account with Wells Fargo. On this occasion I was told I did not have an appointment and they didn't have anyone who could see me. The woman counting money behind the glass did not even have the courtesy to look at me, before suggesting I go to another branch. #rude. So, I simply have to bank only at the Embassy Lakes branch on Hiatus. They are much much nicer there. My suggestion to the company is to clean house and get new employees at this branch. There is no way I am the only complaint and the sheer indifference towards customers is alarming. The other issue with Wells Fargo is when you call you have to talk to their IVR (Interactive Voice Response system). In fairness to them, they have done a good job with it and it is far and away better than many many other companies, telecoms and cable providers included. However, it is long-winded and you have to listen for a long while before being allowed to get to a banker. In fact it is quite challenging and annoying to get to a banker. Sometimes, I cannot even get through and by the time I do, I am fit to be tied. No one needs that much stress and frustration when you know you need to talk to an employee. EVEN WORSE, when you do get to a banker; you get different information on two out of three phone calls. One employee told me I had to go to the bank to close my account, and yet another closed the account over the phone. WHILE I CONCEDE, THEY ARE BETTER THAN BANK OF AMERICA AND THEY ARE VERY VERY CONVENIENT 90% of the time. Still, these frustrations are not small things in business. Therefore, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK.
