  DO NOT let them trick you into signing up for “overdraft protection”. I was charged almost $300 in fees after a teller mentioned I didn’t have it activated on my account and that it “would be smart to have.” After going back in upon getting multiple 19 charges I had never seen before (sending my account $100 into the negative) and questioning what was happening I was told I was mistaken, that nothing has changed other than the fact that I can no longer overdraft. It could have all ended right there, but they decided to fast-talk me out of reversing my decision by saying “I’ve been here over ten years, I know what I’m talking about.” Finally when I couldn’t take it anymore I went in and demanded to reverse this “protection” and lo and behold all charges ceased. When I called to explain my situation, how I was essentially coerced into massive amounts of fees by their teller they said they could reimburse ONE $19 fee, reaping a cool $266 (month’s rent) from a person who earns ~$12k annually. I didn’t realize when they said “Keep more of your hard earned money” they meant they would be the ones keeping it. I’ve been with this credit union for three years with no problems until now. It is a shame. Do NOT sign up for “overdraft protection,” no matter what they say. If you are a person of very low income, this “protection” only guarantees more fees.

  A real review from a real business owner.. switching to this union was life changing truly a better way to bank compared to my last no hidden fees my I get all my funds lighting fast from customers.. friendly staff clean safe area give them a try
