  I've been with ACU for about 8 months now and they've already done more for me in that time than Wells Fargo did in 3 years. I seriously cannot overstate how much better this institution is that WF. Anyways, they managed to get me a credit card as well as some tips to improve my credit and a small loan. All in all I am SO GLAD I moved my account here and really appreciate ACU and their staff.

  Hi Matthew, I apologize if you ran into any inconvenience at one of our branches. We have used mechanical counters in the past, but found that they are often inaccurate. Moreover, they are expensive to operate/ repair and we made the decision that they aren’t the best investment for our members. Fortunately, our tellers and cash handlers are extensively trained and held to exceptional standards for accuracy. For your peace-of-mind, we also have several backing control systems to ensure daily accuracy and precision with your account. The manual process is a bit slower with large or complicated deposits, but I assure you that it is a unique instance with our services that reflects our stewardship of our members’ funds. We are a not-for-profit and want to make sure investments we make are valuable to the credit union’s member/ owners. Of course, all feedback is presented to the executive level of the organization. I have been told by the Vice President of Operations that consideration of mechanical counters is still in the strategic plan, but we can’t justify the immediate value. That said, he is also considering your review from a service standpoint and will be investigating other solutions to speed that process up.   Poor service. ATM is not avail after hours. They have bank door locked and ATM in area that was once accessible and then the door to the bank, however now you can't even access ATM.

  Hi Tulle(?), I am incredibly sorry about the ATM hours. Unfortunately, that area has had some recent struggles with vagrancy and we had to reduce the ATM hours to ensure the safety of our members. It is not a decision that we came to lightly, but felt it necessary. Daytime traffic in the area changes significantly and we have much more control of the building during business hours. That said, we take all of these reviews seriously and use them to improve our services. I will be creating additional signage for the area that will help people find the closest, free ATMs. We pay for you to use the Service Center network which includes 30,000 ATMs across the nation and hundreds in the Denver area.
