  I opened a Chase business account a few years ago and kept the minimum balance at just over $1500 and never used it. Yesterday I noticed I was charged $15 service fee monthly since last year. I called customer service yesterday and was told the service fee kicked in because Chase raised minimum balance requirement from $1500 to $2000. After I explained that I never received the notice of the change, customer service said that all the service fees could be refunded except they can only go back three months ago. I need to contact Chase branch to reverse all the charges earlier. Today I called chase at Washougal. Carol Lackey was very rude and said it's my responsibility of watching the minimum balance required and without looking at the transactions she believes that I was charged because I didn't meet the minimum balance requirement of $1500, which is not true. I said even you believe the minimum requirement is $1500, how do you expect me to know it now becomes $2000. She said she didn't know what is minimum balance requirement is because she is the manager, not a banker. She couldn't do anything with it except refunding $15. I don't want to judge people. I just want to share my experience with public to let other people do their own judgement.

  Excellent customer service, staff is top notch. This locations ATM is terrible and constantly out-of-service.
