  Love Citizens. I have been banking with them a long time. I appreciate the great customer service - they always seem to remember my name! Will continue to bank with them for the foreseeable future! Keep it up guys!

  This branch (789 Som Center Rd) has horrible customer service. I visited this location twice in the past two months and both times I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them. The first time was when I was trying to find a cd account that I was “payment upon death” beneficiary on. The teller adamantly told me she couldn’t help me if I didn’t have the account number. Not even trying to see how she could help. Her tone was so unfriendly. I then explained that I had called Citizens and they told me that in order to look up the account all I needed was the certified death certificate and my id. Only after I explained that did she check with the manager. She then informed me that she can look it up, but in a snotty tone said that if she finds it I’d have to complete a “ton” of paperwork. I did eventually find the account at Third Federal. Since it was a PUD they said it was very easy and I had just one document to sign. They cut me a check and I left the bank in under five minutes. They were super nice and helpful. I did NOT have to complete a “ton” of paperwork. Today I went in to this Citizens location to get a document notarized and I was told by the manager that she could quickly help me before she got on a phone call, and then proceeded to tell me I should have made an appointment. When I told her I’m a customer and that Ive never had a problem getting something notarized before without an appointment, she explained that it was because they were short handed. So her excuse for acting as though she was going out of her way to help me was that they were short handed. Wow I’m never going back to that branch. The Citizens on Mayfield Road near Giant Eagle is so much more friendly and helpful.

  All I wanted to do was deposit a check. All the manager wanted to do was give me attitude tell me to leave. She told me to go to the Mayfield Heights branch to deposit! So I did, will NEVER return!
