  When I was seeking a home in Bar Harbor, Jeff Miller (Coastal Maine Realty) was a great partner. Informed, connected, and a really good person who is also very involved in the Bar Harbor community. He gave me great advice when I was buying a home and then, when I need to move away and sell my great home, was equally helpful, really going above and beyond to work with me on the transaction. Because, with Jeff, it's not just a transaction. Moving is an experience which can pose challenges. I would not have chosen another broker!

Because we choose who we work with, our clients more often than not become friends and although we know our lives change and take us in different directions, it's never easy to have someone you've come to know and care about move away.   My wife and I bought two houses with Jeff over the last couple years and have had a fantastic experience working with him. We went into house hunting not quite knowing what we were looking for, and Jeff was tremendously helpful guiding us through the process and showing us a range of options. Jeff's familiarity with other local realtors and mortgage groups made the entire process of buying a house smooth and painless. His knowledge of local real estate is tremendous, he was always responsive with our first time buyer questions, and we felt like he had our back throughout the whole process. We even had some followup questions after the sale and he was just as responsive after we had closed.

I have always felt that my job is not to "sell" a house but to help people find and purchase a home, smooth out some of the bumps along the way, and advise as to the many options that exist for financing, inspections, legal services, etc that exist and may be necessary. I genuinely enjoy working in this capacity because at the end of the day, the satisfaction I get from having helped people like you and Jess realize a dream is provided by few jobs. This is a large part of why my willingness to help my clients doesn't end at the closing. Thank you again.

  Our experience purchasing a home through Laura and Jeff was wonderful from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, and took the time we needed to learn what we wanted, and to explain the home buying process so that we understood what was involved. Their main concern was that we find our perfect home (we did, through their efforts) and we never felt pressured. We highly recommend Coastal Maine Realty to anyone looking for the perfect property, and I have no doubt they would put in the same care, respect, and effort into selling as we received as buyers.
