  I have been banking here for approximately 5 years. While everyone is friendly, their systems are antiquated. The communication between departments, branches and corporate is terrible and I mean terrible. This most current issue is STILL not resolved! After giving my debit card number to a company to take advantage of a *free* offer online (careful not to sign up for anything and to screenshot each page that shows up to make sure/prove I wasn't spending money, other than a one time S & H charge of $4.95), I found I was charged $185. Due to recuperation from major surgery, I couldn't get to the bank, and I know/understand they need you to go to the bank to sign paperwork to dispute a charge (this happened once b4 a few years ago). I called the company that had charged me, twice. They were a disaster and after researching them online I found I was one of thousands who were scammed. Lesson learned. Back to the Fulton Bank... long story short, I went to the bank, filled out the paperwork, signed etc. Then... much to my surprise, about 12 days later, that SAME company was permitted to deduct ANOTHER $185! This is now almost $600 this company has taken, and MY BANK didn't protect me. I'm furious and I don't get furious easily or often. Since calling the bank very upset TWO days ago, I have not heard a word... No phone call, email OR money back in my account. As a small business owner myself I really make an effort to support other small/smaller companies. Lesson learned. When opening a bank account, go to a larger bank with better SOP'S, more staff and equipment.
