  Our Lake Naomi Club Experience was very disappointing . We prepaid for 12 ppl. a one week membership almost $500, two month's out providing pictures & registration forms. When arrived only find half or more of our passes did not work; and my family members were turned away at the pools, health clubs etc. Went to the office three times, and received the correct passes, on the next to last day of our family reunion week. When I contacted the membership director apon my return home, she suggested this was my error for not finding the right office & person earlier . Unequipped distrinsted staff & management .

  We have been members of the club for a very long time and are disappointed with the cutbacks of services these last 2 years. I realize that the COVID virus is responsible for some things, but I do not understand the reasons for the continuing unavailability of services. 1. The Clubhouse used to serve brunch on Sunday, but no longer. 2. The Clubhouse used to serve lunch several days a week, but no longer. 3. The Clubhouse used to have a seafood buffet every year, but no longer. 4. The Clubhouse dinner nights have been cut, and reservations must now be made a considerable time ahead. 5. Notified today that the TT pool is now closed for the season. Can I expect these changes to be permanent or are you actively endeavoring to return to things the way they used to be? Is this because of COVID, or is it because of labor shortage? I, frankly, am not happy with what is going on here, and feel that if services are not going to be provided fully, some allowance for adjustments for dues should be made. I certainly would appreciated your response to my above questions and comments.

  Hi Francis, The Club traditionally is not successful in hiring local food and beverage staff because we can only employee them June through Labor Day. Most talented hospitality workers want and need to work year round. The Club started hiring International workers from around the world 6 years ago. This program proved to be a very positive program for the food outlets and created overwhelming members satisfaction.  Due to covid-19 the government paused the international staffing visas and sent all the workers back to their home country, therefore the Club was not able to fill the 36 staff visas as we have done in the past. Short staffing in the hospitality industry is global but hits the seasonal private clubs more than any other business. The Club is sorry we were not able to meet your expectations. Our goal with the international program back up and running is to be fully staffed for 2022. If you need more clarification please contact general Manager Robert Jones
