  (Quick edit: after fighting with them for a couple days and moving over to a new credit union I realized a lot of these issues could have been resolved with better communication instead of just telling me no and not giving me any help. It’s a shame but I feel as though we are seeing the death throws of a credit union who won’t keep up with the times like their competition. I was able to walk into another credit union and have all my problems I’ve been dealing with resolved within 15 minutes of my feet passing the front door which means that the issues I dealt with here are not my fault) I lost my card, thinking I had left it in another state I canceled it and was given the only option of having one mailed to me which was going to take 4 weeks. I got home and did some digging with a friend and he managed to find it. Since it was in his possession for a minuscule amount of time they refused to reactivate it. Unfortunately this isn’t the first issue I’ve had recently (including having access all of the sudden to an exes account in the app 3 years after we were together???) and it’s gotten to a point where I know I can get better elsewhere. My first ever checking account was through ISU credit union and I’ve been completely loyal even when moving out of state. Unfortunately all my bills are online and Netflix isn’t going to take a check so after 15+ years of being a member it’s time to move on. I applaud the name change. The irony that you have to look out for yourself when banking with them truly isn’t lost on me.

  Hello Brien, we understand the difficulties you are going through and we are here to help. One option to help while your new card is on the way is to use mobile wallet. Our card printing machines should be back to operational this week once our vendor finishes their updates to them and you can always stop in and get a new card once those are working again.   I've been a member for 20 years. I've had car loans and personal loans through this bank. Last week my card was alerted for fraud, which is great because they're paying attention. What isn't great is I called and said the transfer was legitimate. I was told it would be fixed and I could use my card again. I haven't been been able to pay for my gas for days. I've had to use my credit card. That's expensive when you have to fill your tank every day. Bills aren't getting paid because of this. Today I couldn't pay for my groceries because the fraud alert hadn't be lifted. That is incredibly embarrassing when you have more than enough money to cover it. I see zero reasons to stay with this bank. Thanks for making me feel like a Karen.
