  We recently refinanced our primary residence. The refinance process was much like the initial mortgage so we had a basic understanding of what to expect during the process: application, documents, rate/term options, more documents, underwriting, more documents, clear to close, funding. Now what we didn't expect was the amazing experience with this specific team. We did actually shop around for rates and lenders as well. Network Funding response time from the submission of the initial application was 9 days faster than any other the other lenders and by far offered the best rates (lowest rate by other lenders offered was 3.250% compared to Network Funding which locked us in at 2.625%). Our title company told us we had the lowest rate they have seen yet! My Loan Officers, Karen and Leslie, sent me a side by side via email, then personally called to review the options in laymans terms to help us make an informed decision on rates/terms. Their application program allows you to log in and see the status of your loan at all stages although we did not use this feature as our LO kept us up to speed and apprised of any changes along the way. Our lender let us know that we, as borrowers, in combination with our property met certain criteria to qualify for an Appraisal Waiver which helped save us $$. In all, we reduced our mortgage by 10 years and saved $54k in interest in the overall life of the loan. We could not be more pleased with our experience throughout the process, which was nerve racking enough during a pandemic with lenders tightening qualifying criteria for borrowers. PS Fun fact, our first application was to our CURRENT mortgage company which STILL has not responded to the application for refinance.
