      I'm an entrepreneur and business owner for over 20 years and recently moved my business to North State Bank in 2020. I've worked with many banks over the years, but I have never experienced better service than I receive from North State Bank. Getting through SBA loan processes and other banking needs during the COVID-19 pandemic was handled on a very personal level, with outstanding service and attention to every detail. Everyone that we've worked with at North State Bank has been outstanding and I greatly value their partnership in helping my business.

      I would suggest looking to other banks to work with. On a lending front, they were unable to be competitive with other lenders in the area on rate, which led me to other borrowing choices. On a banking front, their sign-up process is archaic/manual and requires more personal information disclosure than is normal from my experience in the market or appropriate in my opinion. Ultimately, with so many choices in banking, I can’t recommend North State as they have been consistently subpar in my interactions with them.
