I've worked with Paul and his team several times and have always had a great experience. Even in a very busy market along with the pandemic, Paul has been responsive and has gotten to settlement on time with no excuses. I also love the weekly updates from his team which lays out the mortgage process and tells you exactly where we are in the mortgage process and what still needs to be done. I also appreciate Paul for speaking with clients in the beginning to confirm they are ready to purchase.

As a freelancer, and self-employed, it's been a struggle for Banks to take me seriously. Albeit it successful in my freelance role, those 1099s seem to be a big deterant to a lot of lenders. Paul and I connected first in 2020 where he gave me some good advice on waiting to apply. In 2022 we reconnected and he walked me through the steps to get pre-approved, and all the way to underwriting so I could go to closing in 14 days and stay competative with cash offers. (Which seemed to be a lot these days!) I was able to close on my dream condo in Old Town Alexandria, and the process was so straight forward. Paul also met with me to discuss the disclosures before Closing so I could be comfortable with what I was signing. Really appreciated his, and the Apex team's, help!
