  Just the "Local" type bank we where looking for. In branch service has been awesome with a friendly and helpful staff. Southstate online product so far is great too. Looking forward to having a long term banking relationship with them.

  I have been with this same bank since they were Bank of Blairsville. I’ve gone through all their buyouts and not ONCE did i have problems with any of them until South State came along. They charge me overdraft fees of $36/transaction that shouldn’t be charged (the charges were made when there was a positive balance and already deducted from available balance) and it’s a pain to constantly go up there nearly every 2 weeks to get them reversed. They need to stop this and clear up there computer system.
