  If you want real personal service this bank is the same as all big banks. To charge a fee to cash a check drawn on their bank is absurd. First Chatham Bank does not! Savannah still only has one local bank that actually cares about the individual. FCB!

Non-South State account holders are charged a small processing fee on business checks or personal checks in the amount of $50 or more.   A good bank. Small enough to give good individualized service. I have had an account here for a few years and never had a problem. Can easily speak to the manager if you need to. Offerers interest free checking accounts, if you have 1 automatic payment coming in, or with some accounts with a minimum balance. Has drive through and inside banking. Open Saturday mornings. Has branches in several area locations and is easily accessable. I would recommend this bank to everyone.
