      Went to cash a check. I don’t have an account there. They charged me $10 TO CASH A CHECK ON THEIR ACCOUNT. Then, they refused to cash it until the account holder called them back. What good is a check? This is why I will NEVER have an account at a “bank” again. I highly recommend credit unions. They don’t steal money from average people.

      Wonderful people, stable staff (little turnover, so over the years to get to know folks), helpful in dealing with the frankly horrid back-office computer system. If you bank in person, wonderful, can't say enough good things. If you travel out of state or rely on online banking (or worse, if you travel to Korea, where very few banks accept the UB debit card) look elsewhere for your personal banking.
