Brian Gates helped me through my first home buying process and made me feel truly blessed through the whole experience. He answered ANY and ALL of my questions, went through a couple different scenarios with me and told me exactly what I needed to do and not do while buying my home. My husband and I stopped in last week as we are new to the area and have a friend who spoke highly of Union Home Mortgage. We spoke to a loan officer who also claimed he was the branch manager, Michael (though I'd be really surprised if he actually was). He seemed to be going through something, because his attitude was SO off putting. Once he found out we weren't looking to sign a mortgage THAT DAY, his attitude went south for the winter and he acted like he was doing us a HUGE favor by graciously giving us the light of day. I've never even had a car salesman with such an attitude, and that's saying something. Will NOT be returning to Union Home Mortgage ever. My husband and I have great credit and a fully paid off main residence, we don't need to do business with this cut-rate chain. We'll be taking our business to the nearest Chase bank where you're treated properly. And Michael, if you're reading this, I hope whatever you were going through works itself out or you'll find yourself without much in life.
