      I had an account with Wells Fargo since 2001. Recently I became separated and needed my own account. I called and was told no appointment was necessary. I took off from work, and when I got to the Branch a younger woman met me and asked if I had an appointment. I explained I had called and she said something to the effect that her branch wouldn’t have given that advice and that they were booked all morning. I probably could have lived with that but it was the “have a nice day” and the condescending and dismissive tone. I went to United in Front Royal. Cassie set me up multiple accounts and has provided excellent customer service.

      I went into the branch to deposit four checks to the principle of a loan. I told the teller they were for the principle and not loan payment. Well nope they used half of it to make the loan payment. I called the branch to get it straightened out. And of course the branch can’t help me. Because they say their lines are not secure and could not verify my account. Then they were too busy to help me. And sent me to the service line which put me on hold for over 15 mins.
