  When the time came for us to purchase our new home, the number of mortgage lenders/processors was plentiful. However, based on past experience there was only one person I would call to handle our transaction. That person was David LaBrot. In spite of the fact that he lives over 5 hours away was insignificant, since he had demonstrated his willingness, his knowledge and his professionalism when handling our previous purchase. This time was no exception. Even from that distance David communicated frequently and clearly all that needed to be done in order to execute the purchase in a smooth and timely manner. Home buying, especially through the VA loan process can be difficult, due to all their out-of-the-ordinary requirements. However, the process was expedient, and devoid of the usual anxiety that accompanies home buying. When it came time to close on the purchase, in spite of that 5 hour drive, he was there, in person, to insure that everything was handled properly and in our best interest.
