  Stellar companies provide great communication focused on the customer and take responsibility for the next step in providing a service and product. I currently understand 5/3 isn’t one of those stellar companies. My experience was an extremely painful process of purchasing a new home. Kind staff who dropped the communication over and over again. Multiple reach outs to our employers for the same information. Disclosure of our financial data to my employer. Excessive passivity in updates. We were 11 days past the set closing date and asked to continue to wait. I wrongly assumed those involved, all the way up beyond managers, would do the work to step through a cookie cutter system of processing a mortgage, as well as communicate where we were in that process. In the end the loan terms changed 11 days past the set closing and we were asked if we were denying the loan. (What does that even mean? I didn’t ask since we were eyes wide open running to find a new company to start over for a mortgage.) All of it was exhausting to run through for the last couple months. This experience showed their subpar communication and convoluted process at 5/3.

  Lazy staff and Don’t like new business. Look for other bank or avoid this branch if you are stuck with 53
