  On Hold Reading the emails of the day Miss Jo. is anxiously waiting for the on hold music to stop and real person come on the line. A simple task has turned into a mantra. Trying to keep and look busy in front of the client and still not look irritated. Battling a cold that was thankfully not Covid from a recent test, still put her customer service skills to task. This was the second day of this service for this customer. They had come at the request of the credit union's security department the day before to close their accounts. But time ran out and had to be resumed the next day. The customer was a victim of a scam but policy is to terminate all accounts of customer involved. Miss Jo was trying to help the customer who was patiently waiting on hold for the security department to release their hold ln the account. Once the account was released it was a simple procedure to close the account and conclude business. The hold up is the security department being understaffed. It's my observation that Miss Jo be recognized for excellent customer service skills and demeanor with the credit union members at this branch. Fortunately and unfortunately was the one going through this sad event of being scammed. Something that is happening much to often today. In conclusion, although a request to close the account. It is still recommend Navy Federal Credit Union to any who needs a financial institution. The staff has been excellent at every branch visited.

  I have been a member of NFCU since 1987, and it was a good credit union. Then they opened up to everyone for more fees and bank deposit. NFCU is horrible!!! Their customer service has gone down the drain!!!! Their new hires are poorly trained. After 35 years I am going to find another credit union.
